Ms. Wendy Mok
Principal Consultant of Hienvision Limited
- With a distinguished career spanning multiple fields, Wendy obtained Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Business Administration), providing a strong foundation in both legal frameworks and commercial strategies. Further enhancing her expertise, she completed an Executive MBA (EMBA), equipped with leadership, business management, and strategic decision-making skills.
- · Wendy is also passionate in technological innovation, having completed the prestigious MIT Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy course. This cutting-edge knowledge enables us to integrate AI and emerging technologies into business strategies, with the aim of helping our clients stay ahead in today’s fast-evolving landscape.
Summary of Ms. Mok’s previous experience:
- Business Experience: Wendy had worked in managerial roles for several banking institutions in Hong Kong - customer relations, marketing, account management, business development in retail banking and corporate banking (handled many multinational accounts, corporate clients and retail clients), personal credit cards, corporate cards, and credit analysis.
- Corporate Training Experience: She provided training/seminars to thousands of audiences (for example: employees in bank/financial institutions, and insurance agents).
- ·Legal and Compliance Experience: She worked as solicitor for an international law firm in Hong Kong (served corporate and individual clients). She worked as senior legal counsel for banks, and Head of Legal and Compliance for two insurance companies respectively. She also worked for other financial institutions dealing with diversified range of work, including legal advice on asset management, securities, investments, real estate, acquisition of companies, due diligence and IPO in Hong Kong.
- Telecommunications and technology related Experience: She had also worked as Controller-Network Services at a major telecommunications company.
- Coaching Experience: She was a coach of Coaching Circle of HSBC in Hong Kong.
- Speaking and Presentation Experience: She was invited by a multinational bank to deliver compliance briefing /workshop to hundreds of bank staff.
- Contract Negotiation: She is very experienced in contract negotiations, and provided hundreds of comments on contract negotiation in LinkedIn.
- Teaching Experience in university and schools:
- University: She was lecturer and module leader of law courses in City University of Hong Kong
- Schools: She delivered presentation on study skills and career development to students in a secondary school. She also taught study skills related courses to students in Scout Association of Hong Kong – to help students to study effectively with happiness and self-motivation.
- Awards : Wendy received Asian Legal Business ALB Hong Kong Law Awards - Insurance In-House Team of the Year in 2007 and 2008 respectively; Collaboration Superstars Award (HSBC Life) in 2021; and Lex Falcon Award in 2024.
